WEEKLY REQUIRED WORK

These are time sensitive. You do not receive credit if you write them after the deadline each week.

First, there's a blog entry (about 250 words) which will have you respond to a hopefully thought-provoking question. Each week, you must do the blog entry with enough time left in the week to be able to enter into dialogue online with your classmates. Write, reply, write more, reply more, and then write and reply more.

Second, there's a reading. There’s no blog entry associated with this. Just read.

Third, there's a written response to the reading. Your reading and writing on the blog must be completed by the SATURDAY (by midnight) of the week in which the reading falls. This entry should be a long paragraph. YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESPOND TO OTHER STUDENTS' PART THREE EACH WEEK.

WEEK THREE BLOG ENTRY

The greatest television show ever created was...

(and obviously, explain why that show was so great)

95 comments:

  1. The greatest television show ever created was Lost. This show is guaranteed to get the viewer hooked. It has many complex characters that there is at least one character that the viewer will relate to at some level. The characters who all come from completely different backgrounds are revealed to be connected not only to one another, but to the island that they crashed upon. This show had many different elements, so there is something for every viewer. It contained humor, mystery, fear, life, happiness, hope, sadness, anger, death, and despair. A major conflict in the show was that between science and faith, which was represented by the two characters Jack Shepard and John Locke. The entire show is full of mysterious moments that slowly begin to unravel as we learn more about each character and the circumstances that he or she comes from. The main mystery of the show is the island. It becomes clear early in the series that this is not your average island. There is something very ominous about it. I will not reveal much about the ending of the series, but I will say that it will leave some feeling satisfied and at peace for the characters, and others completely confused and maybe even frustrated. It is the type of show that brings out different emotional reactions from different people. I highly recommend that people watch it and see for themselves!

    1. I never knew Lost was involved with science and religion. Anything that has to do with science and religion is interesting to me. Once spring quarter ends, I will be watching Lost.

    2. It's such a great show! Trust me though, you will get hooked! All six seasons are on Netflix.

    3. I remember watching a few episodes when the show first came out and really liking it. i loved the romance but all the mysterious things that happened in the forest and being completely surprised by some of the characters or animals that were in there. Netflix is a black hole to me when school is going so I tend to stay away from it but I tend to watch it again and finish the seasons.

    4. I am a Netflix junkie, and I have seen Lost on there but I have never paid much interest to it, but I might watch it now. I like watching series of television shows on Netflix.

  2. The greatest television show, in my opinion, is CurrentTV’s Vanguard. It was a documentary TV series that reported on issues of the environment, drugs and the effects of globalization and conflict. Its journalistic format is similar to today’s Vice on HBO where correspondents interview key officials or witnesses on issues that might be relatively unknown, flat-out ignored or misconstrued due to exaggerated facts from media and tabloids. One episode that particularly still sticks to me is “Sex, Lies, and Cigarettes” which powerfully portrayed how the cigarette industry targets Third World minors and its lower-class citizens by taking advantage of the fact that they are uninformed about the dangers of smoking. Remember the viral video of Aldi, the 2-year-old smoking baby?
Each episode is guaranteed to leave you with a profound effect but be warned as some episodes can leave you emotionally drained.

    1. I never knew cigarette industries targeted third world minors or lower-class citizens. Just reading about this episode made me sick to my stomach because lower-class citizens and minors are uneducated about the dangers of smoking.

    2. Yep, that's exactly how I felt when I'd first watched it and the fact that they flat out take no responsibility for their actions is outrageous. What's more is that they market cigarettes like they did back in the 60s, as the ultimate cure-all for cancers, heart disease etc. It's crazy...

      Delete
    3. I can't believe they used to think that cigarettes were safe, and not only safe, but actually beneficial to your health!

    4. You should look up the episode or at least some scenes from it. It's on youtube. Unfortunately, since the channel was bought out by another business, everything produced by that channel is basically gone including this show. They're not releasing it on DVD or anything. It's a shame since it's a perfect format to show in high school classrooms today. I've been trying to hunt down all the episodes of this show for years but sadly there's only a few left online.

  3. The greatest show ever created is American Horror Story because it is creative and creepy, that it will leave you at the edge of your seat. This show is a season-by-season anthology that takes you to a haunted house, an asylum, a New Orleans witch coven, and a freak show. Unlike other shows, you can start at any season you would like because each season begins a whole new chapter. There are four seasons in total and each season introduces new characters, that are played by the same actors/actresses from the previous seasons, diverse plots, and different settings. When you watch the first episode, it introduces the characters, and gives you feedback of what is going on, then all of a sudden, glorious madness begins. American Horror Story will leave you wondering what is going to happen next or what character is going to die in the next episode.

    3. I agree, this show is definitely more of a psychological thriller. It messes with your head but that's what makes it unpredictable. My favorite season would definitely be the first season since I watched it not knowing anything about the material so I had little to no expectations at all. What about you? Which one's your favorite season?

  5. The greatest television show that was ever created was Reign because it has almost every genre mixed into it. The show revolves around Mary Queen of Scots when she is in her young age of about 19 and tells about her fight with France to protect Scotland from England. Its starts out with lots of romance which feeds the to females population but has mysterious creepy moments through out the series but also includes the history of Mary and her life to become the great Queen that she was. the show ties in lots of key characters and there stories which brings in a lot of variation of the time period that the show is based around. This is a newer show that is halfway through season 2 and i am very anxious for the rest of the season to come out.

  6. The best television show ever created is Hawaii Five O. There are two different series that were aired, one was from 1900s and the one that is currently on air. Hawaii Five O is the best television show because it has many different themes. The show has action, mystery, science fiction, drama, and romance mixed all in one. I am big fan of mystery, science fiction, comedy, and romance and I like that I do not have to watch five different shows to get all the different genres of shows that I like. This one show gives me all the genres that I could possibly be interested in. Aside from all the themes the show has, my favorite actor is on the show, which is Alex O’loughlin. Alex O Loughlin is a great actor, and he is a very handsome man. The rest of the actors on the show are also very good actors. I have come to be very fond of the rest of the actors on the show. The setting of the story also makes the show even better because the show is filmed in Hawaii. Every time I see the show, I get to see the beautiful beaches and landmarks of Hawaii, and it makes me want to go to Hawaii. I am only on the second of four seasons of Hawaii Five O, and every episode has a turning point that I did not expect. This show definitely keeps me at the edge of my seat and keeps me wanting to watch it more.

  7. The greatest television show ever created is Once Upon A Time. It is a show about fairytale characters such as, Snow White, Prince Charming, Ursula, and many more. But the show connects unexpected characters together like Rumpelstiltskin and Cruela Deville with an interesting backstory. It captivates the viewer with its unexpected plot twists. The main theme is the war between good and evil, but in this case it is between heroes and villains. There is more depth to that however. The show has been revealing backstories that show the heroes struggling between good and evil and ultimately making the choice a villain would make. It is also interesting to see what made the villains evil. Most of the villains on this show have gloomy backstories that made them evil. It makes the viewer pity them. The villains desire a happy ending for themselves more than anything. But being villains, along with their happiness they also want the destruction of the heroes’ happy endings. The show makes the viewer question if the villains have some good inside of them and if the heroes have an evil side. I feel it is trying to get the theme through that anyone can be both good and evil. The cast is talented in acting and each actor perfectly matches the characteristics and personality of the fairytale character they play. It is as if they were born to play that role. Another reason why this is a fantastic show is the whole family can watch. It is appropriate for children and children are interested in it because it is about their favorite fairytale characters. Even though this show is about fairytales, adults get drawn into this show because it is more than your typical fairytale happy ending.

  8. The greatest television show ever created was the 1980 sitcom, the golden Girls.
I began listening to this show three years ago because of the structure of the dialog between the characters were easy for me to follow. Even though I cannot see their body language, I remember their faces and mannerisms, finding the show to still be enjoyable to listen to.
The stories take place in Miami, Florida, when two widow women and a divorced woman decide to live together. Blanche Devereaux and RoseNylund share the bond of being widows while DorothyZornak faces the reality of her husband of 38 years divorcing her for a younger woman.
Blanche Devereaux played by Rue McClanahan, works in an art museum. She takes pride in her southern background from Atlanta, Georgia and blames her southern heritage for her promiscuous ways. Rose Nylund played by Betty White is from a small town in St. Olaf, Minnesota, whose sheltered upbringing illustrates her inexperience with worldly concepts and ideas. Bea Arthur Plays Dorothy Zornak, a high School substitute teacher that has sharp wit and timely remarks throughout the shows.
The episodes really get interesting when Dorothy’s, 80 year old mother Sophia Petrillo played by Estelle Getty comes to live with them after her retirement home burns down.
I think that this show is absolutely hilarious and I especially like the theme music song by Cynthia Fee.
The Golden girls a clever and humors sitcom that millions of people still view today. It earned various awards during the mid-80; s until the early 90’s including the prestigious Primetime Emmy Award and golden global Award.

  10. The greatest television show ever created is Saturday Night Live. One of the main reasons why it's the greatest television show ever created is because the producers make skits that are about current events and historical situations. This show gets serious currents events and turns them into something you can laugh at. Some of the skits created on the show become the most memorable reenactments in comedy history. The most memorable skits are called “MacGruber”, “Lazy Sunday”, “More Cowbell”, and “Celebrity Jeopardy”. In addition to having great skits, the show has had the best comedic geniuses of all time such as Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, and Chris Farley. The show also had many guest hosts like Justin Timberlake, Christopher Walken, John Goodman, Jon Hamm, Steve Martin, and Tom Hanks. When you have such a great line up of comedians and celebrities with their own interpretation of comedy you have a perfect recipe for something extremely funny and memorable.

Saturday Night Live always pushed the limit in their skits. Whether it was about religion, potential U.S presidential candidates, news events, and actual political figures from around the world, nothing was safe from being made into a skit. The intention of the show is not to criticize people, but to make people laugh at themselves which is why I think it’s the greatest show ever created.

  11. I would have to say the greatest show ever is Law & Order: SVU! I actually started watching this show when I was a freshman in high school. Because of this show, I have chosen my career with law enforcement. I just feel like all the stories depicted throughout the show are to provide knowledge for victims that is help and they are not to blame. I enjoy the characters of the show very much because they deal with real life issues whether focusing on your career or focusing on family which are two very important things for me. Both of the lead characters have their own ways of dealing with things and in a way answers questions that I have asked myself if I continue into a path of law enforcement. The show has been on about 15 seasons and although the cast has changed you can still relate with them and their struggles outside of work. The series contains a various of different crimes and different scenarios that could happen or have happened. It is insight to how cruel and severe crimes can be. I have quite literally seen every episode. and have enjoyed them very much. Honestly, it keeps you hooked because every episode is so different from the next and it has a twist, you honestly can't tell whose guilty until the very end of the show. It is kind of like a cliffhanger, it hooks you instantly!

  14. The greatest television show ever created in my opinion would have to be ABC's Shark Tank. Shark Tank is a reality show about entrepreneurs try and get panel of highly respected investors to invest money into their company. The panel of investors come from all different backgrounds such as real estate, sporting goods, clothing, and technology. Along with having a very diverse panel on investors, there are also many entrepreneurs who come on the show with all kinds of inventions. Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary make up the panel of judges. They present on everything from food trucks to a new fashion fad. The discussion gets pretty heated and is very entertaining to watch. The most interesting part I found about this entire show are the entrepreneurs and all of their creative inventions. In some episodes they also check in on businesses that the investors have already made a deal and show their success. Whenever they do one of these and show how the successful the business has become since their deal and their episode aired, I always get so happy that they are doing well and am reminded that the American Dream is alive and thriving!

  15. I would have to say that the best show ever created on Television would have to be FRIENDS. I say this because it a show that not only has great humor but it also helps to teach life lessons. We were able to learn about growing up, friendship, dating, careers, how to be yourself. Throughout the ten seasons that the show was on the audience was able to learn and grow with these characters. We were able to laugh and cry and relate to this small circle of friends. I personally adore this show and can watch any and every episode over and over again and still laugh. It is not very often that there is a show that can make you laugh at the same jokes no matter how many times you have heard the joke. The show covered issues of religion, history, cooking, acting, following ones own dreams, and even the topic of LGBT. This show covered so many different things that we see and deal with on an average basis and made us relate to the characters as they dealt with these issues too. Truthfully, FRIENDS is my favorite TV show ever created. I still find myself watching reruns all the time and making references to the show in everyday conversations.

  16. The greatest TV show that I have ever watched and I can sit and binge watch is Sex and the City. I love how all the characters are different and don’t have the same story. Yet they still mange to all relate to one another. The show is about love, sex, work, ambition, and a little drama. It is my guilty pleasure that I sit and watch to de-stress. My friends and I always set aside time at least twice a month where we spend an entire Saturday to watch the series. I just love Charlotte she is my favorite out of all the girls, she is so well mannered and proper, but she also is looking for love like everyone else and unfortunately goes through many hardships to find it. Samantha is the funniest character on the show, and I love how she is so free spirited and career driven. She embodies what a lot of women today are beginning to represent which is strong, independent, and successful. It also helps that she is the most active of all the women in her personal life, and I love watching her give advice about dating considering her dating life is completely different from the rest of the group. Miranda is very career driven, and equally successful as the rest of the girls. She is the lawyer of the group and she is a bit of a feminist she isn’t one of my favorite characters, but her life changes more so than the other girls and it was interesting to watch her go through that. Lastly Carrie is the main character, the author of the series. She is an interesting character because she goes through many phases of her life that are all captured over the series. Her love life is a big mess, but I enjoyed following her as a character because she was always knocked down in relationships, but she always managed to find a way to pick herself up despite all the hardships. I know this show may not seem interesting to some, but I think if everyone gave it a chance they would join my friends and I for Binge Saturdays!

  17. Who doesn’t love a bunch of super-intelligent science geeks? The Big Bang Theory has a group of them, each with their own personalities and quirkiness—and a not-so-intelligent blonde friend, Penny, who is my favorite character. I don’t watch much television, but during Fall Semester 2013 when I was taking Physical Science, I started to get some of the jokes and found it hilarious. I think the show is the greatest television show ever created because it’s a show that anyone can relate to even if they aren’t a “science geek”. There is Sheldon, the guy who is super quirky and hard to get along with (who doesn’t have a friend like that?), there’s Raj, who is shy and can only talk to women when he drinks, and Howard thinks he’s sexy and hot, but it is obvious that the opposite is true. Leonard is the good guy, who falls for Penny, the attractive, “dumb blonde” type, who aspires to be an actress. Leonard and Penny’s relationship is one that can be appreciated due to the cuteness of it—they are total opposites. I also think it is a great show because Sheldon is such a great actor. I often wonder if he comes up with his own lines, or even really knows what he’s talking about.

I'm not a science person by far, but this show has made me see how interesting it can be and how you can put humor into any subject.

  18. The greatest show ever created is a toss-up for me. There are two shows that really stand out in my eyes, both of which are: Empire and How to Get Away with Murder. However, if I had to pick one, it would be Empire. This show has everything that I enjoy in a television show. I love the drama every character has with each other, and how modern this show is. Empire is a drama that involves a huge entertainment company, and all the controversies surrounding it. The show focuses on the power struggle between the family members of the CEO of Empire Entertainment. The CEO, Luscious Lyon, is forced to choose an heir to the entertainment company due to his illness. The three sons of Lyon are pitted against each other to see who rightfully deserves to be the face of Empire. Another thing I like about Empire, is how they interpret the social issue of a gay up-and-coming superstar in the hip hop and R&B world. This show leaves the viewer’s asking for more at the end of every episode, which makes it must see television. How to Get Away with Murder is equally a great television show. As a Criminal Justice major, this show made every episode enjoyable with all the criminal and law aspects of it. In the end, I would have to pick Empire as the greatest show ever created because of its uniqueness.

  19. I’m a Netflix lover and will sit down and watch a good television show whenever I get leisure time. Over the years I’ve watched many great shows on television that it is hard to determine which is the best, but since I have to choose I will have to go with House M.D. The main reason I enjoy the show is due to the main character Dr. Gregory House. If you haven’t watched the show, he’s the lead doctor of a research team in a top hospital. He is arrogant, selfish, dependent on Vicodin, and doesn’t follow the rules, but he’s extremely smart. House makes the entire show interesting because although his character is not admirable, everyone does what he says and respects him due to his ability to solve cases. He often time breaks the rules and does questionable acts but in the end it works out. Gregory House gets himself in a lot of personal troubles and as a viewer I could not help but emerge myself in the storyline and want to help him. The relationships the doctors have between each other is interesting as well. Two doctors were dating, two of them ended up getting married, and then House dates his boss which is an extremely hot lady. I don’t understand how he pulled that off! This medical drama show is a must watch. It has everything a show needs: suspense, drama, good plot, and love. I believe this show is the best because it can appeal to many different types of viewers. This show is not predictable and it always leaves me wanting to watch more of it to find out what happens next.

  20. The greatest television show that was ever created in my opinion has to be AMC's The Walking Dead. First of all, it has zombies. Anything that deals with zombies is always a plus in my book. The story line of this show is amazing. There are currently 5 seasons of this show right now. Every season it only gets better and better. There are always new surprises waiting after each episode. This gets me up out of my seat every time. At the beginning of this series the objective was to stay alive and stay away from the zombies. It then later twisted into staying alive and fighting others for territory. When the world comes to an end, it changes everything. Rick, the main character of this show, went through hell to keep his group alive. There were killings and so much more that he had to endure to overcome the bad people who weren't so kind. The creator of this show has done an amazing job at getting the audience's attention by always being on top of new ideas. Another reason i love this show is because of the characters. Each individual plays a huge role in the show. They all have different personalities yet can come as one and connect when fighting against the zombies and others. My favorite character though is Glenn. He is one of the main character and he is very smart. He is the only person who is married in his group. His character also plays a love scheme within the show. It kind of keeps the hope alive that even though the world is falling apart, two people can still fall in love. The Walking Dead is my favorite show because it has a little bit of everything from action, to thriller, and love. When all of these factors in together, the television show becomes a masterpiece.

    1. I was never able to get into watching this show, but the few episodes I did watch were really interesting. Maybe I'll finish season one during the summer.

    2. My fiance and I are huge walking dead fans. His favorite is Rick and he always tries dressing and looking like him. Like you, I favor Glenn. I am really glad they are not paralleling the show off the comics or Glenn would have been dead already. :( Since the very first episode that he was in, I liked Glenn. He is extremely smart, very caring, and it does not hurt that he is good looking.

    3. I love the Walking Dead! I have been a fan since day 1! I can't wait for the next season. I think it will be great. My favorite characters are Michonne and Daryl.

    4. I had always heard that the Walking Dead was a great show, but it never convinced me because of the zombies. I remember watching the first episode and thought the zombies were creepy and never did I give it a second chance. However, now that the show is not about the zombies and staying alive anymore and its more of the action and all the things happening it is more interesting. Now I cant wait until the next season comes out because I know it will be great!

  21. The best show to have ever been created would definitely have to be FRIENDS. I have watched this show my whole life and I own all ten seasons on DVD. The reason I think this show is so great is because it teaches you so many things and is really funny. This show really helped my family and I get through some really tough times in our lives, so whenever I am feeling down or are just looking for a laugh this is the show that I turn to. I can sit and binge watch this show for hours. There are so many life lessons to be learned by watching this show and you can’t help but fall in love with all of the characters. I have all of the lines memorized and know what line goes to what specific episode. You could say that I am a little obsessed with it. I feel that this is a show that anyone can relate to, whether you’re male or female, old or young, in a relationship or single. One of the best things about this show, in my opinion, is that it will always be relevant. There will always be people who have to deal with heartbreak, getting new jobs, being fired, getting married, having children, etc. The show follows the cast throughout their early 20’s and into their early 30’s. You see them go through being broke and having no job to having their dream jobs, getting married, and having children. I think that this show is still watched by many people, even more so now since it has been added to Netflix this year. Everyone should watch this show when they want to laugh and just feel happy, in my opinion.

  22. The greatest show ever created was Roseanne. I love this show and can watch it over and over. It never gets old for me and I love the humor that she portrays in it. Very blunt and sarcastic about anything and everything. They deal with problems in a very average normal way. For it's time it was out there. It was based on a lot that wasn't talked about during the early 1990's. It gave light to many aspects of life and made it comical. These were all struggles we faced at one point or another and Roseanne brought the life out of them. Yeah she could come off as annoying or cynical, but she never gave up and that's what I liked about the show. It was always tied into family and doing what was best for everyone. Everyone was involved in the show. Dan the hard working father, Roseanne the determined wife, Becky the straight A student, Darlene the rebellious one, Dj the corky kid, Jackie the aunt and best friend, Beverly the mom/grandma the reserved one. They all tied the show together for variety and humor. It lasted 9 seasons in which I have them all on DVD. The reruns play countless times during the day. My kids have enjoyed it as well and will always make fun of me for watching it. Great show, the show of best time in my book.

  23. I have watched a lot of shows that I really enjoy. It is difficult to pick just one but when I first read the assignment, I thought of Fringe. This show revolves around a female FBI agent who ends up having to work with a brilliant scientist who has been in a mental institute for a very long time. Together, with his attractive genius son, the three solve unexplained phenomenon using pseudo-science methods. It is a crime based drama and the trio investigates weird crimes that seem to have a pattern that connects to experiments ran by the mentally unstable scientists decades prior. This dramatic sci-fi thriller blends the theory of parallel universes, time travel, and strange science so perfectly that one starts to forget that these theories have yet to be proven. It appeals to me because I love science and television dramas with great plot. What I really enjoyed about it was that there were multiple story lines running parallel to the main arch and each season got better. You really have to follow the show by episode or it would be hard to understand. It is one of those shows that you have to use your mind to see hidden secrets and to figure out what is really going on. The characters were developed at an amazing pace and you could not help but become sucked into their dilemmas. They chose very talented actors for these roles. This show ran from 2008 until 2013 and each episode was a solid hours worth. It ended very well but slightly abrupt. Although, that could just be because I was sad that it ended and I really wanted to see how things turned out after the fact.

  24. One thing that I love to do on my free time is watch my favorite shows. I would have to say that one of my favorite shows of all time has to be Breaking Bad. This show ran on AMC for five seasons. Breaking Bad is about a chemistry teacher named Walter White that is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in New Mexico. He has a pregnant wife named Skyler White and a disabled son named Walter White Jr. Knowing that he is going to die and leave his family piles of medical bills that they will not be able to pay, Walter decides to use his wonderful chemistry skills to cook methamphetamine. He teams up with a former student of his who sells drugs, Jesse Pinkman. Walter’s plan was to sell enough meth so he could pay for his own medical bills and stay alive long enough to earn enough money to ensure that both of his children had paid college educations. They begin selling the purest meth on the street and they face a lot of consequences on their journey. He goes by the name of Heisenberg and the top drug dealers know they have competition to beat. The top drug dealers want to pay a lot of money to have him cook his meth for them. He becomes involved with a man called Gustavo Fring who is the highest earning drug dealer in the US and they earn the most they have with him. There are complications with Gustavo and he is out to kill Walter and Jesse. Walter goes from being a loving, caring, responsible man and becomes a man full of greed, anger, willing to kill, lie to get what he wants. Jesse however, wants out. He just wants his money and to start a life away from drugs and Walter. In the end, it is not about having enough money for his family, it’s about being the top drug dealer around. He lets his fame and fortune get the best of him. His brother–in-law, Frank, is a DEA Agent and he begins tracking down Heisenberg and he has no idea that he has dinner with him most weekends. He ends up putting all pieces together and is out to get him. I will not spoil the end in case there are people that have not seen this show, but I do recommend it. The first few episodes are boring, but stick through them because it gets better and better.

  25. The greatest television show ever created was The Office, the US version. It’s a show about a group of people who work for a paper company called Dunder Mifflin. I love how they made it seem like a documentary. This style of the show is what made it different from any other show on television. Of course other shows followed in the same type of style an example would have to be Parks and Recreation. There are parts in the episode where the characters do interviews to discuss what is going on at the office and this has to be my favorite part of the show. I have watched the whole series twice. Every time I watch an episode it always makes me laugh. My favorite character would have to be Jim Halpert, he’s an average guy who met the love of his life at work and likes to mess with his coworker Dwight. Jim proved that there is a way to getting out of the “friend zone”. Dwight would have to be my second favorite character. He is a German beet farmer who falls in love with Angela the cat lady of the office. He is Michael Scott’s right hand man at the office. Poor Dwight always tried so hard to prove to his boss, Michael that he had the characteristics and qualifications to be in charge. I feel like I can relate to the show after working in an office with a diverse group of people. The awkward humor and pranks is what made me love this show so much.

    1. I love The Office. Both Parks and Rec use the same filming method to get the characters facial expression. I think those are the funniest parts of the show in my opinion. What I like about The Office the most is how awkward Michael Scott is and how Jim Halpert consistently pranks Dwight.

  26. The greatest television show ever created has to be, in my opinion, Full House. I remember watching this show so many times with my family. I still love watching this show whenever the reruns come on. My mom that doesn't speak or know much English will be cracking up when we're watching the show. During the time that this show was airing, the audience saw how every character grew up from little Michelle to Uncle Jesse. The show covered issues that not only children and teenagers go through but adults going through a difficult time in their lives. I remember the episode when DJ was going through a time when she was self conscious about her weight and didn't think she was pretty because she didn't look like the models on magazines. This issue is still occurring to this day. This show gave so many life lessons that helped the audience grow up with the characters in the show.

    1. I also thought that Full House was the greatest show ever created. I loved how everything they were going through they resolved as a family. I also liked that even though Danny was widowed and left to raise three girls he was always there to comfort them and be there for all three of them. I remember that episode where DJ thought she was not pretty and overweight however when she grew older she grew to be a very beautiful person because of the way Danny, Joey, and Uncle Jesse raised them.

    2. I love watching Full House when its on. It really is a nice family show for everyone to get together and watch. Every episode had a message in the end. Whether it be that family is always there or that we shouldn't try to grow up so fast.

  27. The greatest TV show ever created was Grey’s Anatomy. I watched all the seasons on Netflix more than once. It has many characters working together to save lives of those who enter their hospital. The characters all have different personalities and I’m sure I have related to a few. They start off as interns at the hospital and each character has their own jaw-dropping story line. The greatest thing is that you get to watch all the characters mature into expert doctors. There’s a lot of everything in this show, life lessons, love, suspense, action, drama, and many sad story lines of characters that you fall in love with and are cut off my dramatic endings. I swear I cried my eyes off throughout the whole season. The director does an amazing job by continues more than a handful of seasons without the storyline getting too repetitive. I recommend this TV show to anyone, but make sure you have the whole day off because you’ll be glued to the TV.

  28. The greatest TV show ever created was Full House. I would never get tired of watching Full House. I remember that some weekends there would be all day marathons and I would watch them all day long. Full House was about a man named Danny who lost his wife in a car accident and had to raise her three daughters DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle with the help of his best friend Joey and his brother in law Jesse. It was the greatest TV show ever because it showed a strong family bond among the three men and children. Any situation that they had to face they always did as a family. I also low key always had an innocent crush on Uncle Jesse so I looked forward on watching the show. In the fourth season Uncle Jesse met Rebecca Danny’s coworker and fell in love with her and eventually they got married and had twin boys whose name was Nicki and Alex. I really enjoyed watching this show and was really sad when they did not air it on Nick at nights any more.

  29. The greatest television show ever created would have to be a show in Spanish called Pequeños Gigantes. I recently haven't watched it because I don't know if there is a different season on, but I know season one was the best in my opinion. This show was about kids of different ages who would sing, dance, and have a sense of charisma. The kids would be put into teams and each team would be evaluated by the singing part, the dancing part, and whatever else the other group member wanted to do. Normally the other team meme we would do some sort of acting or comedy. This show would come out every Sunday and I really enjoyed it because it was a time when all my family would be gathered up in front of the TV screen. We always have to be telling someone to sit or quiet down because this show would make us all emotional. It would get really emotional when they would eliminate a team because it's so sad when the kids are saying their goodbyes to each other. At the end of the season there is a group winner and I believe they earn money. The point is that my family and I would never miss this show because everyone, even my little cousins, would get all into it.

  30. I just realized that my post was never published but here it is:

I recently started watching Gilmore Girls and I instantly became addicted to it. I had always seen some episodes play on T.V. but never watched a full episode. I was looking for something to watch on Netflix and came across that show, so I decided to give it a try. It really is a good show to watch. I love the relationship between the daughter and her mom. The show is based on a single mother raising her daughter in a small town. it shows the struggles that she goes through to try to get her into a private school that will help her daughter get into Harvard. This show has both drama and comedy in it. I find myself laughing to certain things that happen in the show. I also find myself wanting to know what is going to happen next in certain episodes. It really shows how women can do anything. This show really gives women a good look and praises them for all that they do. I cannot wait continue watching this show and watch how it will all end.
